National Park College is Hiring a Bus Driver (Part-Time) Near Hot Springs, AR

Description:
National Park College is currently seeking part-time bus drivers. The bus driver is responsible for transporting the Nighthawk Athletics Teams to and from athletics events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Transport athletics teams to and from athletics events; some events are across state lines
  • Ensure passenger safety at all times
  • Be attentive to traffic and weather conditions
  • Regularly check vehicle safety such as tires, brakes, turn signals, mechanical equipment, etc., and report needed maintenance to necessary department
  • Monitor and report fuel consumption, mileage, and passenger numbers
  • Enforce conduct and safety rules on the bus
  • Maintain a clean vehicle
  • Flexible schedule
Preferred skills/abilities:
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proficiency using GPS devices or maps
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • CDL License with passenger endorsement required
  • Clean driving record
  • Previous experience as a bus driver preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to operate a school bus.
  • Drive for long periods of time.
